U.S. 1911 Gold Indian Head $2.50 Quarter Eagle This is a 1911 Gold Indian Head $2.50 Quarter Eagle mounted as a charm for a charm bracelet. My father had this made for my mother with a 1911 coin for her birth year. However, the "charm" was never put on a bracelet as my father did not want the coin to experience any additional wear. My father looked for many years for an exceptional quality coin before he bought this one. It is hard to tell from the photo, but this coin is absolutely spectacular. I am not a professional grader, but according to the Ruddy Photoguide, I would assign this coin a minimal grade of MS-60 and more probably MS-62 or even MS-63. This is an outstanding coin in every regard mounted in a 24-caret charm holder (which has not marred the coin in any way).
