This is an absolutely spectacular Living History program (8½" x 11") for the Cessation of Hostilities Bicentennial held April 19, 1983 in Washington, DC. The inside has a description of the end of hostilities on the left panel and a list of participants (individuals and units) plus the order of events in the Living History Demonstration on the right panel. On the back cover is the Lexington & Concord Bicentennial stamp (Scott 1563) issued on April 19, 1975 (Patriot's Day) with a large pictorial Proclamation of Peace cancel from Washington, DC. On the bottom is the Treaty of Paris stamp (Scott 2052) with both a first day of issue cancel and a pictorial cancel from Arlington, VA. At the top left is the French stamp for the Treaty of Paris (Scott 1899, Michel 2409, Yvert 2285) with a first day of issue cancel from Versailles, France. This spectacular historic item is extremely rare and is on sale by me at the bargain price of SOLD
